It was so
nice to see you in Batesville, Steve!
The location couldn't be more perfect.
Our kids had a blast, and as always, we
2 enjoyed ourselves. We'll no doubt be
in Waldenburg soon, but all effort will
be put forth to visit the Lockhouse
too-from time to time! XOXO~H & GW~

Dear
Josie's crew,
I was with the college program at
Josie's last night for karoke, and food
ofcourse and heard the suggestion of a
night for teenagers. One where a special
menu would be made on certain nights so
that teenagers could afford the food and
one where we could also do karoke, or
something to that effect. Well, I think
it is a most splendid idea! I would
definatley come as most often I could, I
really think it would be a big hit and
quite successful! Thankyou, Kristina

I came to
Josies for the first time yesterday
(with the APPLE Project) They asked my
opinion on some things.....Yes, I think
they should have menus and "special"
kareoke nights for teens. The menu
should include fries, burgers, nachos,
desserts...ect. It would be a huge
success. (By the way, the food was
great)

Your

josiessteakhouse.com just to see....I
didn't even know ya'll had a website. I
am very impressed!! I have been telling
everybody at work that they did to make
the trip (from LR) to eat at Josie's.
It's the best! I have already sent 4
different people to you....word of mouth
is the best form of advertisement.
By the way, tell Brook and Alana that
Miranda said HI and I MISS THEM!! :-)

Steve:
Jonathan liked his hat and shirt. I
picked up a customer survey today for
you from Columbia cuban restaurant in
ybor city, florida which you may want to
use. One idea they used which you talked
about was mailouts for events to members
of Josies. They do it through email of
course at no cost versus postage. Hope
you have agood weekend at both of Josies.

Sir,

I live

For that

I have

From all
I have

for my

Unfortunately
I do not

Therefore

It would
be nice
if you
would
consider
adding
one or
two
vegetarian
options
on your
menu. I
know it
is a
steakhouse
but it
makes
eating
out very
difficult
for
people
who, for
whatever
reason,
choose
not to
eat meat

I love
my
community;
however,
I would
rather
not have
to
introduce
myself
and my
dinner
companion(s)
to
whomever
I share
my table
with.
Furthermore,
if I
must fix
my own
salad or
excuse
myself
to the
restroom
I'd
rather
not move
those
sitting
around
me so
that I
may
leave
the
table.
Especially
if I
plan an
evening
out at
one of
Batesville's
more
expensive

I grew
up in
Batesville
and
moved
back
here
about 6
months
ago.
When I
was
growing
up,
people
went to
Newport
(at
bodily
risk
through
30 miles
of
curving
roads)
in order
to have
access
to beer,
wine,
etc.
Although
many may
not know
it, you
could
also get
whatever
you
wanted
locally
if you
knew
where to
go. I
don't
want to
see a
liquor
store on
every
corner
in
Batesville,
but I am
so glad
to have
someplace
to get a
decent
meal
along
with a
glass of
wine. We
already
have
access
to these
as well
as hard
liquor
through
the
'Duck
Blind'
and the
Country
Club.
The fact
is that
if
someone
wants to
drink
they're
going to
drink
and no
city,
state or
country's
laws are
going to
stop
them.
Having
said all
of this,
WELCOME
TO
BATESVILLE

congratulations
on your
success

getting
that 5-0
vote.

frankly,
I am

I've
heard
the
radio ad
and I
don't
see the
dishonesty...
if
you've
ever
been to
Josie's
you
wouldn't
refer to
it as a
"club,"
that
gives it
a
negative
connotation.
In most
parts of
the
world, a
glass of
wine
with
dinner
or a few
beers on
your
night
off
isn't so
controversial.
Josie's
has a
family
atmosphere
and it
will
prove to
be a
positive,
successful
addition
to the
Batesville

As a

I love
your
food,
service
and
entertainment
at
Josie's.
I
recently
has two
guests
from
Baton
Rouge,
Louisiana,
and I
took
them to
Josie's
Karoke
competition.
They
said it
was the
best
steaks
they had
ever
eaten.
That's
pretty
good for
someone
from the
New
Orleans,
Louisiana
area! We
ended up
being
judges
for the
Karoke
contest.
That was
fun, but
very
difficult
because
of the
talent
that was
there.
I, along
with
some
friends,
attended
the
finals
last
night,
1-8-04
and the
food was
great
(as
usual)
the
service
was
wonderful
(as
usual)
and the
5
contestants
were
super
and I
would
not have
wanted
to be a
judge.
They
were all
excellent
entertainers.
I
especially
enjoyed
Richey -
he is
quite an
entertainer!
I am
anxious
to go to
your

I am
from
Independence
County
(Newark).
I
personally
do not
drink,
but I
see
nothing
wrong in
offering
beer or
wine
with the
meal.
After
all,
when we
go to
restaurants
in
Little
Rock, or
Memphis,
they
serve
drinks
and I
know
when we
are
traveling
through
any
State,
we eat
in
restaurants
that
serve
alcohalic
beverages.
I am
sure
knowing
Steve
Carpenter,
he would
not
allow
anyone
to come
in drunk
or get
drunk
while
there. I
love
Josie's

Enthusiastically
hoping
that
Josies
goes
through
in
Batesville.
It's
about
time
that
Batesville
got a
restaurant
that
serves
high
quality
steaks
and
shrimp.
To
occupy
such a
scenic
location
as The
Lockhouse
is just
an added
bonus.
Looking
forward
to your
arrival
in River
City!!!!!

A recent
visit to
Waldenburg
resulted
in a
exceptional
steak
dinner,
great
service
and
friendly
entertainment
at
Josie's
Steakhouse!
Best
Wishes
to Steve
and his
staff in
opening
a new
restaurant
in the
Historic
Lockhouse
on the
White
River in
Batesville,
Arkansas.
I'm sure
the
addition
to the
community
will be
greatly
appreciated.

The
website
looks
great,
and I'm
excited
for your
possibilities
for
expansion.
I can
honestly
say that
eating
at the
original
Josie's
Steakhouse
is
something
I am
definitely
looking
forward
to doing
when I
come
home
from
college.
I have
great
memories
at
Josie's
involving
good
friends,
great
food,
and a
whole
lot of
stories
(usually
Cardinal
basketball).
I wish
you the
best...
and save
me a
seat!
